About Carty
Carty is a member of the General Corporate group of the firm’s Business section. He has experience in corporate transactional matters, securities, corporate governance, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements and other general corporate matters.
He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center where he served as Senior Editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Law. While at Georgetown, he was awarded a Pro Bono Pledge Certificate for charitable work undertaken throughout the Washington, D.C. area.
Carty is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the South Carolina State Bar, the American Bar Association and the Birmingham Bar Association, where he serves on the Scholarship Committee. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama.
