About Nick
Nick practices in the firm’s Creditors’ Rights, Bankruptcy, and Commercial Finance and Banking Practice Groups.
Nick earned his J.D., cum laude, in 2008 from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. While at Cumberland, Nick received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and the Judge Paul O. Moyle Award for Best Appellate Brief. Nick also earned Scholar of Merit Awards for various courses while at Cumberland. In 2003, he received his B.S., summa cum laude, in Human & Organizational Development and a minor in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University.
Nick is a member of the Alabama State Bar.
What is your favorite thing about the law?
It impacts every aspect of daily life and is, therefore, always relevant.
What was your first job?
I walked door-to-door selling subscriptions to our hometown newspaper.
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy playing tennis, rock climbing, and working out.
What advice would you give to a young student in law school?
Focus on doing your best not on doing better than your classmates.
How do you spend your weekend?
My weekends usually include exercise and time with my wife and family.
