Overview

Erin is the Chair of Burr & Forman’s Real Estate Practice Group and serves as the Vice-Chair of the firm's Executive Committee. She is also a member of the Corporate and Tax Practice Group. Erin’s practice focuses on real estate and capital markets transactions. She has experience in all aspects of complex secured and unsecured debt financings, corporate mergers & acquisitions, and various sophisticated real estate transactions including acquisition and disposition transactions in retail, multi-family, senior-living and assisted living, and industrial real estate.

Erin has handled all sizes and varieties of commercial real estate and corporate closings throughout her career, as well as has extensive experience in both single asset and portfolio sales and acquisitions. She brings an intelligent and practical business sense to the table and works closely with clients, proving that the meaningful connection she makes with her clients is more rewarding than any deal she oversees.

Away from the office, Erin is very active and enjoys kayaking and paddle boarding.

Erin earned her J.D. and her M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University and her B.A. from Emory University.

  • Lead counsel representing Seller in the sale of 16 multi-family projects in 10 states for proceeds in excess of $1 billion.
  • Lead counsel representing seller in the sale of a redevelopment project in Pasadena, California.
  • Lead counsel representing purchase in acquisition of $100+ million multi-family site in each of Missouri, Florida and Kentucky.
  • Lead counsel representing borrower in $500 million revolving credit facility.
  • Lead counsel representing borrower in $90 million construction loan to build industrial warehouse facility.
  • Lead counsel representing buyer/borrower in acquisition of hotel in Naples, FL and related acquisition and construction financing of $7 million.
  • Lead counsel representing borrower in first and only successful Term Asset Backed Secured Loan Facility (TALF) encumbering some 30 shopping centers in the U.S. and generating $400 million in proceeds for the company.
