Burr & Forman announces that Birmingham-based Partner, Kelli Carpenter Fleming has been named to the Birmingham Business Journal's Rising Stars of Health Care list for 2016.

"The Rising Stars of Health Care" list recognizes up-and-coming leaders in Birmingham's health care industry. Fleming will be featured in the June 24 edition of the publication.

At Burr, Fleming is a member of the Corporate and Tax practice group where she focuses on Health Care law. She assists all types of clients within the health care industry, including hospitals, surgery centers, physician practices, diagnostic centers, and home health and hospice agencies, with various legal issues. Fleming's experience includes licensure and certificate of need issues, contract drafting and negotiation, fraud and abuse compliance, Medicare/Medicaid regulatory guidance, RAC, ZPIC, and third-party payor audits, HIPAA compliance, employment matters, third-party payor disputes, and various other corporate and regulatory concerns health care providers may face.
