Overview
Taylor focuses her practice on complex business and insurance litigation, including cybersecurity insurance coverage and claims. She has extensive experience successfully representing businesses and individuals, at all stages of litigation, in both federal and state courts.
In addition to her trial practice, Taylor has successfully litigated numerous appeals in both state and federal appellate courts. Her experience includes litigating a wide range of cases involving claims of retaliatory discharge, fraud, contract disputes, financial services and banking disputes, municipal liability and personal injury torts.
She frequently speaks and writes on appellate and insurance coverage topics.
Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Taylor worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Sonja F. Bivins in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama.
Taylor is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, and received her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as a senior editor of the Alabama Law Review. In addition, she was a member of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board, Jessup International Law Moot Court Team, and Bench & Bar Legal Honor Society. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
