Potter, III, chaired a panel on the SEC's and MSRB's new Municipal Advisor Rules at the national meeting of the National Society of Compliance Professionals held October 20-22 at National Harbor, Maryland. The 2010 Dodd-Frank Act expanded federal regulation of the municipal securities market's participants and mandated extensive rulemaking in that space.
