Brad Wright Named 2021 Leadership In Law Honoree By South Carolina Lawyers Weekly
COLUMBIA, S.C., June 21, 2021 – Burr & Forman LLP Columbia-based partner Brad Wright has been named a 2021 Leadership in Law honoree by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly. The Leadership in Law event recognizes law firm leaders from across the Palmetto State who have gone above and beyond in their professions, achieved success in their law practice, made contributions to society and had an impact on their communities. A top ‘Lawyer of the Year’ award will be selected out of the class of honorees and revealed on August 20.
“I am humbled to be recognized among my peers as a Leadership in Law honoree,” Wright said. “This group of individuals are talented South Carolina attorneys representing a variety of laudable contributions to their respective fields and I’m also grateful to the publication for shining a light on our profession with this event.”
Wright serves as managing partner of the firm’s Columbia office and counsels clients on governmental and corporate matters. He represents clients with legislative and regulatory issues before the South Carolina General Assembly, the Office of the Governor and state agencies. Wright also advises clients in various corporate and transactional matters including the merger and acquisition of businesses.
Wright earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Auburn University.
Wright will be honored at the Leadership in Law event hosted by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly on August 20 in Charleston, S.C. and profiled in the publication’s June 21 issue.
