Burr Elects Eleven New Partners for 2025

Burr & Forman announces the election of eleven attorneys to partnership, effective January 1st. The new partners include Christian Borek, Jake Burchfield, Rob Graham, Bryant Hitson, Ross Johnson, Joe Owens, Dana Robbins-Boehner, J.P. Sauer, Nicole Sims, Josh Stover, and Linda Yang.

The new partner class consists of attorneys from Burr's Atlanta, Birmingham, Daniel Island, Jackson, Jacksonville, Mobile, Nashville, and Tampa offices, who practice in Construction & Project Development, Corporate & Tax, Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy, General Commercial Litigation, and Real Estate.   

Atlanta, GA

  • Linda Yang is a member of the firm's Corporate & Tax practice group, where she focuses her practice on all aspects of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private placements, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and financing transactions.

Birmingham, AL

  • Christian Borek is a member of the firm's Corporate & Tax practice group, where he advises businesses on matters involving entrepreneurial business and emerging technologies as well as general corporate matters. 
  • Jake Burchfield is a member of the firm's General Commercial Litigation practice group, where he represents corporate clients of all sizes in business disputes at the local, state, and national levels.
  • J.P. Sauer is a member of the firm's Corporate & Tax practice group, where his business law practice focuses on general corporate matters along with mergers and acquisitions.

Daniel Island

  • Joe Owens is a member of the firm’s Real Estate practice group where he works with clients on matters involving business law, administrative law, environmental law, and land use.

Jackson

  • Josh Stover is a member of the firm's Construction & Project Development practice group, where he focuses his practice on construction and corporate development.

Jacksonville 

  • Rob Graham is a member of the firm's General Commercial Litigation practice group, where his background includes real estate, insurance, litigation, and claims management across multiple regions.

Mobile 

  • Bryant Hitson is a member of the firm's Construction & Project Development practice group, where he focuses on representing contractors and owners in construction disputes, as well as defending corporate clients in personal injury lawsuits.

Nashville

  • Ross Johnson is a member of the firm's General Commercial Litigation practice group, where his practice stretches across various industries, including construction, real estate, employment, financial services, and other complex business disputes.
  • Nicole Sims is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Tax practice group, where she represents clients in a variety of transactional issues and general business matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and financing transactions.

Tampa

  • Dana Robbins-Boehner is a member of the firm's Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy practice group, where she represents a diverse array of clients, including banking institutions, municipalities, real estate developers, title insurance groups, and retail shopping centers in commercial bankruptcy cases.
