Burr & Forman Adds Partner Kat Carrington in Nashville

Burr & Forman is pleased to announce attorney Kat Carrington has joined its Nashville office as a Partner in the Transportation, Insurance, and Product Liability Practice Group.

“We are excited to welcome Kat to our Nashville office,” said Ken Bryant, Office Managing Partner. “Her significant litigation experience enhances our ability to serve clients in this market and throughout the firm’s footprint.”

Kat is a trial lawyer with experience in both state and federal courts across the southern U.S. Her practice focuses primarily on product liability litigation, with an emphasis on defending recreational vehicle manufacturers and distributors against claims of complex defect allegations, including those involving recalled products. She manages a diverse array of product liability, personal injury, and commercial litigation cases involving motorcycles, off-road vehicles, motorhomes, automobiles, agricultural equipment, industrial machinery, and medical devices. Additionally, Kat clerked for the Honorable Rhesa Hawkins Barksdale on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and routinely handles appellate matters.

Kat obtained her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and her B.A. from Louisiana State University.
