Burr & Forman Adds Sarah Albani to Tampa Office

Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Sarah Albani has joined its Tampa office as a staff attorney in the Real Estate practice group. 

“We’re excited to welcome Sarah to the firm as we continue to expand our Real Estate practice in Tampa and throughout the region,” said Jacqueline Simms-Petredis, managing partner of the firm's Tampa office. 

Sarah is an experienced attorney with a focus on commercial real estate, employment law, and civil litigation. She has represented lenders and borrowers in complex loan transactions, drafted closing documents, and conducted extensive due diligence. In employment law, Sarah has advised one of Florida’s largest skilled nursing providers, handling discrimination and harassment claims, conducting internal investigations, and leading staff training on legal compliance. As a civil litigator, she has represented community associations statewide, winning over 50 summary judgment hearings, leading two non-jury trials, and successfully briefing an appeal in the 1st District Court of Appeal, while managing a caseload of nearly 1,000 association units.

Sarah is a Tampa native and obtained her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her B.S. from the University of Florida.
