Burr & Forman announces the formation of its Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Data Protection service group. The group, led by Birmingham Partner India Vincent, focuses on assisting clients with the protection of personal and proprietary business information.

The group, which also consists of attorneys from Alabama, Florida and Georgia, works with clients to form strategies to deal with cyber risks, develop corrective action plans, and provide immediate and appropriate responses to a cybersecurity breach. In addition, the team assists clients in nearly all aspects of cybersecurity law, including technology infrastructure assessment and audits, data breach prevention, compliance with best practices, regulatory compliance, and data breach response notification and reporting.
