Burr & Forman Boosts Corporate and Tax Practice Group with Addition of J. Sims Rhyne III

Birmingham, Ala., March 10, 2017 - Burr & Forman LLP announces that J. Sims Rhyne III has joined the firm's Birmingham office as an associate in the Corporate and Tax Practice. Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Rhyne was an associate at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP.

Rhyne represents businesses in a wide variety of industries, including construction, health care, information technology, investment management, manufacturing, professional services, real estate development and retail. His counsels these clients in corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, corporate formations and reorganizations, corporate governance, contract law and financing transactions, including angel investments, private placements and venture capital investments.

Rhyne is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar Association and the Birmingham Bar Association.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Florida and a masters of accounting degree from the University of Florida. He received his law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and his LLM from New York University School of Law.
