Burr & Forman Continues Growth in Nashville with Addition of Commercial Litigation Attorney
Burr & Forman’s Nashville office welcomes attorney Ross Johnson, who joins the firm's General Commercial Litigation practice group. Johnson is the sixth attorney hire the firm has made in Nashville in just the last eight months, boosting the office to a 20% increase in size. In his practice, Johnson focuses on assisting clients in general business litigation matters and commercial disputes.
“Our Nashville office is consistently expanding, increasing the breadth and depth of our talent to meet the needs of expanding industries in Tennessee and across the region,” said Tucker Herndon, Burr & Forman’s Nashville office managing partner. “Ross’ diverse experience, especially in public policy, aligns with our mission to provide excellent client service, and we are thrilled to welcome him to our team in Music City.”
Johnson began his legal career in Washington, D.C., focusing on labor and employment, government ethics, and administrative law matters. Prior to becoming an attorney, he was an associate at a public affairs firm where he provided communications, government relations and public policy advice to clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to national nonprofits and trade organizations.
Johnson earned his undergraduate degree from Tulane University and his law degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law. He is licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Tennessee.
