Burr & Forman Expands Across Southeast with Addition of Five Attorneys

Burr & Forman LLP is pleased to announce the addition of four attorneys across the firm's footprint.

Randolph R. (Randy) Lowell joins as a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group in Charleston, SC. Randy has extensive experience in corporate governance and transactions and has served as counsel on a number of infrastructure projects and issues. He also has wide-ranging experience in administrative and environmental matters. Randy has appeared before all appellate and trial court levels in South Carolina and is licensed to practice in South Carolina and the District of Columbia. He currently serves as the outside General Counsel for the South Carolina Ports Authority and as a member of the National Infrastructure Advisory Council. Randy earned his LLM in Environmental Law from The George Washington University, his JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law, his Master of National Security Studies from American Military University, his Master of Public Administration from the University of South Carolina, and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of Charleston.

Joseph H. (Joe) Farrell, III joins as a Partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group in Charleston, SC. His practice includes business law, contracts, economic development, eDiscovery, Freedom of Information Act compliance, land use and real estate, outside corporate counsel, regulatory law, maritime, and transportation and logistics. Joe served as Assistant Legal Counsel for the South Carolina State Ports Authority and as Membership Chair on the Board of Directors for the Association of Corporate Counsel’s South Carolina Chapter. He earned his JD from the University of South Carolina School of Law, his MBA from the Citadel, and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wofford College.

Joseph (Joe) Owens also joins the Charleston, SC office as an Associate in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. He has experience in administrative and business law, environmental, land use, and general litigation. Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Joe graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, he was the President of the Environmental Law Society and also received the CALI Award for South Carolina Administrative Law. Prior to law school, Joe received his B.A. in Political Science from Clemson University.

Kevin (Kyubin) Han joins as an Associate in the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group in Atlanta, GA. Kevin serves a variety of multinational companies on general corporate matters; mergers & acquisitions; economic development; business organization; corporate governance; and labor and employment matters. Kevin's practice and experience also expands to business immigration including employment-based temporary and permanent visa categories. Before attending law school, Kevin worked for a multinational South Korean electronics company for six years. While there, he served on the human resources, strategic alliance, and mergers & acquisitions team. Kevin obtained is JD from Emory University School of Law and his Bachelor of Laws from Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, South Korea.
