Burr & Forman Expands Health Care Practice in Nashville with the Addition of Renee Rayne
Burr & Forman announces the addition of Nashville-based associate Renee Rayne to the firm’s Health Care practice group. Her practice focuses on the representation of public hospitals, private hospitals and physician groups in regulatory and transactional matters, particularly related to Medicaid participation and reimbursement.
Renee has been the primary associate contact for several hospital systems in markets across Texas and Tennessee, conferring with and advising hospital CEOs and CFOs regarding regulatory matters.
“As Nashville continues to be a market synonymous with expansion in the health care industry, it was important to our firm to also expand our team to respond to this growth, said Nashville office managing partner Tucker Herndon, “adding Renee’s particular experience dealing with public and private hospital systems helps round-out our health care team locally as well as enhances our regional capabilities.”
Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Renee interned with the Honorable E. Clifton Knowles, Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. She received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Texas School of Law where she served as an executive editor of the Texas International Law Journal, a recipient of the Dean’s Achievement Award for Academic Excellence and William Ellis Woods Endowed Presidential Scholarship. She received her B.A. in European Studies from Vanderbilt University and is also a member of the American Bar Association and Texas Star Bar, Health Law Section.
