Burr & Forman is pleased to announce the addition of Mason Veal as an Associate in the firm's Commercial Litigation practice group, based in the Charlotte, North Carolina office.

Mason has experience evaluating legal arguments and briefs for motions before the court. He has drafted court orders, motions, and jury charges for criminal, civil, and domestic cases.

"We are excited to welcome Mason to the firm to help expand and strengthen our commercial and IP litigation practices here in Charlotte and across the firm's Southeast footprint," said Chad Thorson, managing partner of the firm's Charlotte office. 

Mason obtained his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to law school, Mason received his Master's in Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and American History from the University of North Carolina. While studying for his Bachelor's degree, Mason earned a place on the ACC Football Academic Honor Roll from 2015 to 2018.
