Burr & Forman Grows Real Estate Practice Group with the Addition of Jeff Bankowitz
Burr & Forman is pleased to announce the arrival of Partner Jeff Bankowitz to the firm's Orlando office as a member of the Real Estate practice group. He has experience representing clients in real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, financing, leasing, entitlements, and construction contracts, as well as drafting joint venture agreements, corporate documents, and representing buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions.

After graduating from the Florida State University College of Law in 2001, he joined a respected Orlando law firm, focusing on commercial real estate transactions. In 2011, he became Senior Legal Counsel for Signature Flight Support Corporation at BBA Aviation plc. By 2013, he was General Counsel for the Flight Support Division, providing strategic counsel on transactional matters like real estate leasing, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial agreements. He also managed litigation strategies involving employee claims, class actions, property damage, and personal injury cases, while regularly interacting with governmental authorities and overseeing corporate governance and compliance.
Jeff graduated, cum laude, from Wake Forest University in 1998. In 2001, he graduated with high honors from Florida State University College of Law, where he served on the Florida State University Law Review and the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy. While in law school he interned at the Florida Supreme Court for Chief Justice Charles Wells.
