Burr Forman McNair Continues Growth in Carolinas with the Addition of Joe Schillizzi

Burr Forman McNair continues to grow in the Carolinas with the addition of associate Joe Schillizzi, who joins the General Corporate Litigation group in the firm’s Myrtle Beach office. Mr. Schillizzi focuses on assisting clients in general business litigation matters and commercial disputes.

“We are experiencing extreme growth in the Carolinas as a result of increased client needs, and we are excited to build our office with the addition of talent like Joe,” said David Tigges, Burr Forman McNair’s Carolinas managing partner. “His impressive background will better serve our local community and our firm, and we look forward to bolstering our commercial litigation team.”

Mr. Schillizzi has experience in the areas of litigation, corporate law, tax, domestic matters and real estate. In his new role, he will represent both national and international companies, counseling on litigation avoidance or standing before trial.

After earning his undergraduate degree from Clemson University, Joe attended the Charleston School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. He later studied at the University of Florida, where he earned his Master of Laws in Taxation from their top rated tax program. He is licensed in South Carolina.
