Burr & Forman Names Larry Litow As Fort Lauderdale Office Managing Partner
Fort Lauderdale, Fla., March 21, 2016 - Burr & Forman LLP announces that Laurence (Larry) S. Litow has been named as the firm's Fort Lauderdale office managing partner, effective this month.
Litow, a partner in the Commercial Litigation practice, will oversee Burr & Forman's Fort Lauderdale office and expansion as part of the firm's overall growth strategy in Florida.

As the office managing partner, Larry will help manage the office's day-to-day operations, finances, staff, and play a major role in the firm's South Florida recruiting efforts.
At Burr, Litow counsels clients involved in commercial creditor litigation, RICO litigation, construction lien and construction defect litigation, class action defense litigation, maritime related litigation, product liability defense, shareholder and partnership disputes, real estate, banking, fraud, probate, trust and bankruptcy litigation. He has experience representing large closely held and Fortune 500 companies, as well as government agencies and financial institutions.
Outside of his legal practice, Litow is active in the South Florida civic community. He chairs the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Parkland. He is also a past president and director of the Soref Jewish Community Center in Plantation, Fla., and past director of the Daniel D. Cantor Senior Center and the Broward Jewish Federation. In addition to his leadership roles in these organizations, he is involved in numerous trade associations, including the Marine Industries Association of South Florida and the U.S. Super Yacht Association.
Litow earned his undergraduate degree from George Washington University and his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.
