Burr & Forman LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Gary R. Preston as Counsel in its Orlando office. Gary joins Burr from Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A., where he served as Counsel in their Tampa office.

Gary's legal practice focuses on various types of commercial and residential transactions, including real estate property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. He has served as in-house counsel to major financial institutions and has extensive experience handling corporate property matters throughout the United States, as well as commercial and real estate lending and loan workouts. Gary also has extensive experience handling the acquisition, financing, and leasing of retail shopping centers and single-tenant, net-leased properties for a private equity firm.

Outside of Burr, Gary is a member of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association.

Gary earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law.
