Burr & Forman LLP announces the addition of Allen Howell to serve as the firm’s Director of Legal Talent and Development. Howell previously served as the Assistant Dean of Professional Development and Public Interest at Cumberland Law School where he oversaw the Career Development Office and professional development programming.

In his role, Howell works with firm leadership to develop and oversee strategic programs for the professional development, career advancement, retention, and recruitment of attorneys. He is located in the firm’s Birmingham, AL office.

Howell earned his undergraduate degree at University of Alabama at Birmingham, his J.D. at Faulkner University, and his Master of Education at Samford University.
