Burr & Forman Welcomes Financial Services Litigation Attorney Andy Wilson

Firm News

Burr & Forman is pleased to welcome Associate Andy Wilson to the firm's Financial Services Litigation practice group in Nashville. Andy's experience includes researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs at all stages of the litigation process, conducting discovery, and participating in settlement negotiations.

"We're excited to welcome Andy and believe his addition will strengthen our Financial Services Litigation practice across the firm’s Southeastern footprint and beyond," said Matt Mitchell, leader of the firm's Financial Services Litigation practice group.

Before joining Burr, Andy practiced as an associate in a respected Nashville defense firm and served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Brian S. Miller of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. In those roles, he gained broad exposure to many areas of the law and honed his research, analytical, and drafting skills.

Andy represents banks, credit card companies, and other financial institutions in consumer lawsuits involving federal and state laws, such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. He also has experience in employment law, commercial litigation, and appeals. As a clerk, he drafted numerous orders resolving various dispositive or otherwise critical motions and collaborated with his judge to refine them prior to issuance.
