Burr & Forman Welcomes Five Associates to its Birmingham Office
Birmingham, Ala., Sept. 28, 2016 - Burr & Forman LLP announces the addition of five Birmingham-based associates: Lindsey Cochran, Samuel S. Grimes, Jr., Fob James, Bret L. Thompson and Ryan Rummage.
Cochran joins the firm's Lending and Real Estate practices. During law school, Cochran served as executive editor of the Cumberland Law Review, was a Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellow and received the Scholar of Merit Award for Real Estate Transactions. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and her law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
Grimes joins the firm's Corporate and Tax practice. During law school, Grimes served as senior editor of the Alabama Law Review and was a member of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.
James joins the firm's General Commercial Litigation practice. During law school, James served as managing editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law. He earned his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School.
Thompson joins the firm's General Commercial Litigation and Torts, Insurance and Products Liability practices. During law school, Thompson served as a writing editor for the Cumberland Law Review and was a Judge Abraham Caruthers Fellow. Thompson earned his undergraduate degree from Birmingham-Southern College and his law degree from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law.
Rummage joins the firm's Financial Services Litigation practice. During law school, Rummage served as the executive managing editor of the Emory Law Journal. Rummage earned his undergraduate degree from Harding University and his law degree from Emory University School of Law.
