Burr & Forman’s Adam Artigliere and Peg Fox Recognized on the South Carolina Supreme Court Pro Bono Honor Roll
The South Carolina Supreme Court Honor Roll recognizes South Carolina attorneys who volunteer 50 hours or more of legal service in a manner set forth in Rule 6.1 of the South Carolina Rules of Professional Conduct. Rule 6.1 encourages attorneys to provide free or low-cost legal services to people of limited means and charitable organizations, and to engage in activities that improve the law, the legal system, and the legal profession.
The South Carolina Supreme Court recognizes the efforts of dedicated attorneys who volunteer their legal skills through the annual Pro Bono Honor Roll.
Adam Artigliere is a partner in Burr & Forman LLP’s Greenville office. In 2020, Adam provided 109 hours for pro bono clients and 62 hours of legal community service work, including conducting a Law Merit Badge clinic for Boy Scout Troop 235, and advising several non-profit boards. Adam focuses his practice on commercial real estate, local government and economic development.
Peg Fox practices in Burr & Forman LLP’s Columbia office. In 2020, Peg spent 68 hours volunteering with the SC Bar’s Law Related Education Committee, which promotes law-related education by sponsoring middle and high school mock trials and other competitions, providing teacher training, and developing law-related education materials for use in schools and by the public. Peg spent an additional 16 hours advising non-profit boards. Peg is a regulatory lawyer who advises and regularly represents telecommunication and other utilities in a range of regulatory matters before the South Carolina Public Service Commission.
