Burr & Forman’s Artigliere & Fox Selected for the 2021 South Carolina Supreme Court Pro Bono Honor Roll
February 16, 2022 – Burr & Forman is pleased to announce the selection of Adam R. Artigliere and Margaret “Peg” M. Fox in the 2021 South Carolina Supreme Court Pro Bono Honor Roll. The Pro Bono Honor Roll recognizes lawyers who have provided 50 or more hours of pro bono legal services in a calendar year.
Adam Artigliere works with businesses, local governments, non-profits, and individuals in commercial real estate and economic development. As a transactional attorney who ran a successful business of his own, he brings a vast amount of personal and professional experience to the deal table. Adam has worked on 15 distinct pro bono matters in 2021, amounting to over 283 hours of pro bono work being provided to the community. Burr & Forman has actively supported Adam’s efforts and his belief in the tenet that ‘life is service and service is joy.
Peg Fox’s career as a regulatory lawyer allows her to advise and regularly represent the telecommunications, public utilities, and high-tech industries. She represents clients in a range of regulatory matters before the South Carolina Public Service Commission; in state circuit and appellate courts; and FCC matters. Peg spent 87 hours volunteering with the SC Bar’s Law Related Education Committee, which promotes law-related education by sponsoring middle and high school mock trials and other competitions, providing teacher training, and developing law-related education materials for use in schools and by the public.
