Burr & Forman's David Houston Chosen President-Elect of Tennessee's Turnaround Mgmt Association
Nashville, TN. - Burr & Forman LLP is pleased to announce that Nashville partner David W. Houston, IV was elected as vice-president and president-elect for the Turnaround Management Association (TMA)'s
Tennessee Chapter, putting him in line to serve as the organization's president for a two year term in January 2017- December 2018.

"David's guidance will benefit local businesses by enhancing TMA's mission to elevate the practice and standards of corporate turnaround and renewal professionals."Houston has served in many professional leadership roles, including his current position as vice-chair of the American Bankruptcy Institute's Civility Task Force, in which he also previously served as co-chair of both the Ethics and
Professional Compensation Committees and the Southeast Bankruptcy Workshop. He is actively involved in the Tennessee Bar Association and Nashville Bar Association.
At Burr & Forman, Houston is a partner in the firm's Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy practice group. He focuses on business bankruptcy, representing secured creditors and other lenders in commercial bankruptcy proceedings. He has also represented corporate debtors, creditors' committees, trustees and numerous other constituencies in all aspects of bankruptcy cases.
Houston earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Mississippi.
