Burr & Forman's Jacqueline Simms-Petredis Recognized as an Outstanding Young Lawyer by the Hillsborough County Bar
Tampa, FL. - Burr & Forman LLP is pleased to announce that Tampa-based associate Jacqueline Simms-Petredis has been awarded the Hillsborough County Bar Association's Outstanding Young Lawyer Award. Simms-Petredis is recognized for her active leadership and volunteerism in the organization's Young Lawyers Division.

At Burr & Forman, Simms-Petredis is a member of the firm's Financial Services Litigation practice group with a focus on financial litigation and compliance. She counsels clients in matters such as foreclosures, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, compliance issues and direct filed law suits.
Outside of the firm, Simms-Petredis is an active leader in several professional and community organizations. She currently serves on the board of governors for the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division as a circuit representative, and is the immediate past president of the Young Lawyers Division of the Hillsborough County Bar Association. She is also an active board member for the Federal Bar Association and the Hillsborough Community College Paralegal Association. In addition, she is actively involved in community organizations such as the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers and the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Simms-Petredis earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, and her law degree from Tulane Law School.
