Burr & Forman's John Coleman Named Among Nation's Top 100 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys for the Seventh Year in a Row

Birmingham, Ala. - Burr & Forman LLP announces that Birmingham-based partner, John J. Coleman III, has been recognized in "The Nation's Top 100 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys" list prepared by Lawdragon, a Los Angeles-based networking site for lawyers and clients. Coleman is the only Alabama attorney to have been named to this list each consecutive year since 2009. The full list can be viewed online here.

At Burr & Forman, Coleman counsels clients on matters relating to regulatory compliance, personnel policies, employee handbooks, union organizing and rulemaking involving the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and various regulations related to drug testing and disability management. He also navigates clients through complex litigation related to labor & employment matters, including various claims brought under the ADA.

Coleman is a fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He has also been recognized by Super Lawyers, Chambers USA, and Best Lawyers in America in the area of labor and employment. Coleman earned his undergraduate degree and law degree from Duke University.
