Burr & Forman's Laura Tanner Selected To The HCBA Leadership Institute Class of 2015-2016
Tampa, Fla., September 3, 2015 - Burr & Forman LLP announces the selection of Tampa-based Associate, Laura Westerman Tanner, to the Hillsborough County Bar Association ("HCBA") Leadership Institute Class of 2015-2016.
The HCBA Leadership Institute is designed to aid in the development of young attorneys who have the potential to grow into future leaders. The program comprises of learning modules and a community service project, along with meetings and gathering throughout the year.

At Burr & Forman, Tanner is a member of the Financial Services Litigation practice group. She represents clients in consumer disputes ranging from state common law claims to claims for alleged violations of state and federal statutes, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Truth In Lending Act, as well as state fair lending, collection, and deceptive trade practice laws.
Tanner received her undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University, and a law degree from Florida State University College of Law.
