Burr & Forman's Vivien Monaco Named Chair-Elect of the Florida Bar Environmental and Land Use Law Section
Orlando, Fla., - Burr & Forman LLP announces that Orlando-based counsel Vivien J. Monaco has been appointed as chair-elect of the Environmental and Land Use Law Section (ELULS) of The Florida Bar. This selection puts Monaco in line to chair the section, beginning in June 2016. She was elected during the ELULS annual meeting, held during the 2015 Annual Florida Bar Convention in Boca Raton, Fla. last month. Monaco previously served as the ELULS secretary, CLE Committee chair, and Law School Liaison Chair during her eleven years as a member of the ELULS Executive Council. The ELULS is dedicated to serving the interests of over 2,000 members and affiliates from across the state.

She is a Florida Bar Board Certified lawyer in City, County and Local Government Law, and is a past Chair of the City, County and Local Government Section of the Florida Bar. She also serves on the board of directors for the Greater Orlando Builders Association as the Osceola Chapter Representative.
