Burr Welcomes Riley Brown to Transportation, Insurance, and Product Section Practice Group

Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Riley Brown has joined the firm as an associate in the Transportation, Insurance, and Product Section (TIPS) practice group. Riley's experience includes representing clients in complex commercial trucking litigation, premises liability cases, and car accident litigation. Additionally, her background includes insurance defense, where she has represented insurance carriers in both first- and third-party claims.

"We are excited to have Riley join us. Her TIPS-related litigation experience will add depth to our practice group and help us grow in Birmingham and throughout the region," said Kermit Kendrick, leader of the firm’s Transportation, Insurance, and Product Section practice group.

Riley earned her Juris Doctor with a concentration in Business from the University of Mississippi School of Law. While attending Ole Miss, she was an active member of the Student Bar Association and served as a Senate Representative for the Class of 2022. She also served as a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council. In the fall of 2021, Riley was selected for the Transactional Legal Clinic and admitted as a student attorney to represent clients on a wide range of transactional issues. Prior to law school, Riley graduated from the University of Mobile with a major in Political Science and a minor in Business.

Outside of the office, Riley enjoys spending time with friends and family, and her two dogs, Poppy and Clark.
