Burr's Ed Hardin Quoted in Birmingham Business Journal on Alagasco Development

Firm News

The downtown Birmingham property on which Alagasco plans to establish a new metro operations center includes warehouse space and two small buildings, according to a person involved in the deal.

Edward Hardin Jr., a counsel with Burr & Forman LLP, said the roughly 8 acres Alagasco recently bought include a back building and another small building. He said the entire property, located on First Avenue North between 11th and 13th streets, also includes a still unsold parcel of land occupied by the warehouse.

Hardin didn't say what the plans are for the remaining parcel, but said "there's a lot of interest in it."
