Burr's Ty Roofner Named by Orlando Business Journal as Up and Comer
Roofner is profiled in the May 24 issue of the Orlando Business Journal.
At Burr & Forman, Roofner practices in the Corporate and Tax group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, and serving early stage and start-up companies. He has significant experience working with entrepreneurs as they grow and then profitably exit their business.
Among his leadership endeavors, he is active in the American Bar Association, the Association for Corporate Growth, The Florida Bar and the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. He was named in 2013 as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
Roofner has served as a member of the board of directors for the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida and is currently a member of the organization's Executive Committee and is Philanthropy Chair. In addition, he volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and is a frequent speaker at the University of Central Florida's Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
Roofner earned his bachelor's degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law.
