Burr's John Wall & Denzel Okinedo Recognized as "Economic Developers to Watch" by SB&D

Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that John Wall and Denzel Okinedo have been named to Southern Business & Development's "Economic Developers Under 50 to Watch" list.

The inaugural list celebrates the successes of prominent economic developers in the South, including professionals like trade allies, contractors, educators, consultants, and lawyers. The developers have completed job- and investment-generating projects, creating wealth in their communities.

John Wall is a partner in the firm's Columbia office, where he assists a diverse group of domestic and international clients with economic development advice and government affairs representation at the local and state levels. John has experience assisting manufacturers, real estate developers, and warehouse/distribution facilities with securing state and local tax incentives, grants, and tax exemptions. 

Denzel Okinedo is an associate in the firm's Birmingham office. His practice includes negotiating and structuring economic development incentive packages, representing clients before various governmental bodies, drafting legislation, contract negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, business formations, and comprehensive general corporate counsel work. Denzel also has experience handling business/commercial litigation, consumer financial services ligation, political law, and election/campaign compliance.
