Firm News

Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Gonzalo A. Gandara has joined the firm as the International Legal Business Manager for Latin America. In his role, Gonzalo will help to facilitate business development and nearshoring initiatives between Latin America and the U.S., supporting clients on various matters across both regions.

"We are thrilled to have Gonzalo back with us in Orlando. His background and experience will increase the services Burr can provide to clients with interests in Latin America, as well as Latin American clients with interests in the US," said Ty Roofner, managing partner of the firm's Orlando office.

Gonzalo has extensive experience in corporate law, having worked at prestigious Argentine law firms on local and cross-border M&A transactions and day-to-day business matters. He served as a Law Clerk at Burr & Forman in Orlando from 2020 to 2023, focusing on corporate and real estate matters while assisting various clients, including healthcare providers and banks. He then coordinated the Company Law Department at Allende & Brea in Argentina from 2023 to early 2025, where he managed a team of attorneys and played a key role in creating the first company in Latin America with stock capital in cryptocurrencies, influencing local regulations.

Inspired by his grandfather's work as a lawyer in Buenos Aires, Gonzalo pursued a career in the legal industry. He has developed an ability to establish long-lasting client relationships and collaborate with business professionals and lawyers to advance business interests. When he is not in the office, Gonzalo enjoys spending time with his family, reading, attending music events, and riding horses.
