Burr & Forman Welcomes New Associate Maja Hartzell to Nashville Office
Burr & Forman is pleased to announce that Maja Hartzell has joined the firm's Nashville office as a member of the Labor & Employment practice group. Maja focuses her practice on representing employers in various labor and employment law matters, including defending against claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation before federal and state courts and administrative entities.
Maja has defended clients against claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Tennessee Human Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and more.

"With her extensive experience defending employers against workplace claims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, she is poised to be an incredible asset to our team and clients."
Maja routinely counsels employers on employee handbooks, employment agreements, and other employment policies and practices in response to and in compliance with developments in employment law. She also advocates via extensive motion practice and conducts workplace investigations as an independent third party.
Maja obtained her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law and her B.A. and M.A. from Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland.
As a dual citizen, Maja is fluent in Polish. She is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Florida.
