Ricardo Woods Named as 2025 Judge Cain Kennedy Honoree
Burr & Forman is excited to announce that Ricardo Woods has been named the 2025 Judge Cain Kennedy Honoree by the Vernon Z. Crawford Bay Area Association.
Ricardo will be honored at the awards brunch during the biennial Mardi Gras CLE, which will take place at the Admiral Hotel on March 1st.
Ricardo serves as the managing partner of the firm's Mobile office and is a defense trial lawyer focused on product and toxic tort liability, insurance litigation, and government liability. He has successfully defended product manufacturers, distributors, and sellers in the product liability and toxic tort arenas. Ricardo's insurance litigation experience includes issues related to defalcation, bad faith, fraud, and coverage agents. He also serves on Burr's Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Outside of his work at Burr, Ricardo is committed to community service and currently serves as the City Attorney for the City of Mobile and has been an active leader in various non-profit organizations throughout the years, such as 100 Black Men of Greater Mobile, Inc., Mobile United, and more.
