Firm News

Six Burr partners have been recognized in the 2024 issue of Lawdragon's list of "500 Leading Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers." Lawyers selected for this publication range from transactional lawyers whose ways with finance can transform a distressed company to financial litigators, both of the traditional bankruptcy court variety and, increasingly, those who challenge and defend financial restructuring moves that have become inherent to distressed deals. The Burr attorneys included on the list include:

Erich serves as the Atlanta Office Managing Partner while practicing in the firm's Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy and Lending practice groups. He also regularly advises financial institutions on structuring intercreditor agreements.

Eric S. Golden was named in the Bankruptcy & Commercial Litigation specialty. Eric is the Managing Partner of the firm's Orlando office. In his bankruptcy practice, Eric focuses on representing creditors, including financial institutions, special servicers, private equity groups, and other non-traditional lenders as well as other secured and unsecured creditors in state and federal court litigation, chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, and in out-of-court workouts and resolutions.

He has practiced in business bankruptcy, insolvency, and a range of business workouts and commercial litigation since he graduated from Duke Law School in 1980.
