Chandler is an Associate in the firm’s Labor and Employment practice group.

Overview

Chandler works with a variety of clients to defend companies and supervisors in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, tort, and contract lawsuits. Chandler has experience in matters involving Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the National Labor Relations Act, workers’ compensation matters, and state Human Rights Acts. She additionally has experience defending employers against discrimination charges filed with state Human Rights Commissions as well as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In addition to defending employers in active litigation matters, Chandler helps clients avoid litigation by counseling them on various aspects of the employment relationship. She has also experience in drafting employment agreements and employment-related policies.

Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Chandler obtained her J.D. from the West Virginia University College of Law where she served as a student attorney in the General Litigation Clinic. She received both the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Labor Law and the ABA-Bloomberg BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law.
