Overview
Christine Burns-Brown is a partner in the firm’s Transportation, Insurance, and Product Section practice group. Her practice concentrates on commercial and healthcare litigation matters and defending personal injury, premise liability, and product liability lawsuits. Christine strives to make a tangible impact on her clients by working towards a common goal while keeping them informed throughout the process.
Christine has unique experience in representing both the plaintiff and the defendant, along with experience as a litigator with jury and non-jury trials, preliminary injunction hearings, arbitrations, and evidentiary hearings. Within her broad background in healthcare litigation, she has represented hospitals, physicians, and long-term care facilities by managing several types of contractual disputes ranging from reimbursement issues to physician and management employment agreements. In addition to her healthcare experience, Christine’s practice also consists of handling disputes regarding manufacturing, design, and warning defects, wrongful death, negligence, wantonness, and civil action for deprivation of rights.
Because Burr’s clients have a variety of needs, Christine also has extensive experience representing franchisors and franchisees, landlords and tenants, banks and financial services, insurance companies, and more with the handling of breaches of contracts, business torts, commercial fraud and misrepresentation, real property, title issues, and construction.
