Overview
Emory is an associate in the firm’s General Commercial Litigation Practice Group.
Emory earned his J.D. from the Emory University School of Law, where he was honored with the DeKalb Lawyers Association Scholarship, Gate City Bar Association Judicial Scholarship, and received the Legal Advocacy Top Moot Argument Award. He actively participated in the Gate City Bar Association and was a member of the Black Law Students Association Mock Trial Team.
Emory has also contributed to notable publications on collegiate athletics, with his article, "The ‘Great Migration:’ The Evolving Landscape of Education, Sport, and Professionalism in College Football for Black Male Student-Athletes," featured in Sports Litigation Alert and Legal Issues in Collegiate Athletics.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government with a minor in African/African-American Studies from Dartmouth College.
While attending Dartmouth, Emory was a four-year member of the football team, winning an Ivy League Championship in 2015, and being awarded the Dartmouth Special Teams Player of the Year Award in 2018.
