Overview
A native Argentine, Gonzalo’s unrivaled work ethic and affable personality are the foundation of his relationships with clients.
He is a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires (U.B.A.) Law School, considered within the top 30 most prestigious law schools in the world, according to QS World University Rankings (2025). He also holds a pre-master diploma on Corporate Law from the Universidad Austral, and an LL.M. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a concentration on Corporate Law and Trade (honors awarded).
Before coming to Burr & Forman, Gonzalo worked for prestigious Argentine law firms on corporate matters such as local and cross-border M&As, APAs, SPAs, and day-to-day corporate and business matters for local and multinational companies.
Between 2020 and 2023, Gonzalo served as a Law Clerk for Burr & Forman in the Orlando Office. As part of the firm’s Corporate & Tax Practice Group, Gonzalo reviewed files, evidence, depositions, motions, legal briefs, memorandums of law, organized case files, and conducted legal research. He also worked on corporate and real estate matters, and assisted in the representation of various clients including a leading provider of medical services for U.S. veterans, a company specializing in turnkey multifamily and senior housing, lenders, and banks offering commercial, personal, and treasury management services. Gonzalo was also instrumental in promoting and organizing business development initiatives and seminars with different entities from Latin America.
Between 2023 and early 2025, Gonzalo returned to Argentina to coordinate the Company Law Department of Allende & Brea, one of the most reputable law firms in his country. As part of his duties he oversaw and coordinated the work of 18+ attorneys and law clerks, handled corporate deals, and advised local and multinational companies on their day-to-day business issues.
In 2024 he co-led the team of attorneys that formed the first company in Argentina and in Latin America with stock capital contributed in cryptocurrencies. This was a major milestone for Argentina’s company laws as it contributed to the amendment of local regulations.
In March 2025, Gonzalo returned to Burr & Forman to serve as a liaison between Latin America and the U.S., to promote business development and nearshoring initiatives and opportunities for clients. Gonzalo will contribute to the firm’s international efforts for local and international individuals and companies on a vast amount of matters both in – and between – the U.S. and Latin America.
Inspired by his grandfather’s work as a lawyer in Buenos Aires, Gonzalo pursued a career in the legal industry.
