Overview

Kara is an Associate in the Birmingham office, where she practices in the firm’s Lending practice group.

Kara earned her Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law, where she graduated with honors. During law school, she served as a Managing Editor of the Emory Law Journal. Kara was also a merit scholar and graduated in the top 15% of her class.

Kara received her bachelor’s degree in political science and international studies from Rhodes College, where she graduated cum laude. While at Rhodes, she served as a Student Ambassador and as a Senator on the Student Government. In the summer of 2016, Kara studied abroad at the University of Antwerp in Belgium.
