Overview

With a wide range of clients, Ken Bryant regularly represents businesses in seeking a resolution of disputes whether in litigation or by way of alternative dispute resolution/mediation. Ken represents his clients in general business litigation of all types in both state and federal courts throughout the United States.

Ken offers each and every client a wealth of experience based on fairness, taking a straightforward approach that aligns well with his competitive nature. Enjoying the variety that each day brings, he works hard to solve his clients’ problems in a timely and efficient manner.

When away from work, Ken enjoys spending time with his family, preferably at a beach.

Ken earned his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law and his B.A. from Vanderbilt University. He is certified as a Rule 31 mediator by the Tennessee Supreme Court. 

Experience

  • Dismissal of cases against bank for violation of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 and the Home Affordable Modification Plan.
  • Successful prosecution of non-solicitation claim on behalf of bank against former registered representative before a FINRA arbitration panel.
  • Serves as national counsel to the nation's largest release-of-information medical records processing company in the defense of class action litigation.
  • Defense of a national recycling facility with an Oak Ridge, Tennessee location in appellate litigation involving the manufacture of nuclear hazardous waste casks.
  • Defense of motor carriers in numerous lawsuits throughout the Southeast in cargo damage litigation on issues which include: federal Carmack Amendment preemption of cargo damage claims.
  • Limitations of liability in cargo damage claims, EFS National Bank v. Averitt Express, Inc., 164 F.Supp.2d 994 (W.D. Tenn., 2001).
