Overview

Ken is an associate in the firm’s Corporate & Tax practice group, where his practice focuses on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and various corporate and non-profit matters.

A native of Birmingham, Ken holds a J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He completed his undergraduate studies at Auburn University, where he served as President of the College of Science and Mathematics. While at Cumberland, Ken received the Albert P. Brewer Scholarship in Law and the Herbert W. Peterson Endowed Scholarship. Ken was also a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy during his time at Cumberland.

Ken and his wife, Suzanne, live in Birmingham with their daughter, Mae Kirkland. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, and watching Auburn sports.
