Overview
Liam Wallace is a patent technical specialist primarily focused on supporting the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. He has experience and knowledge to assist attorneys in numerous fields, including automotive control and suspension technologies, wireless communications, access solutions, and construction and outdoor power equipment including robotic work tools, power tools, and hand tools.
Liam’s main roles involve using his knowledge to create detailed technical analyses of, and executing effective responses to, office actions issued by the USPTO. He also prepares new patent applications and collaborates directly with inventors and outside counsel while doing so. Additionally, he evaluates patent portfolios for potential infringements as well as infringement risks.
Prior to joining Burr and Forman, Liam worked at the US Patent and Trademark Office as a patent examiner. He utilizes his patent examination experience, as well as his engineering education, to expedite and improve our patent prosecution, and various patent searching activities. Before to entering the Intellectual Property industry, Liam graduated from Duke University with a bachelor of science in biomedical engineering.
