Maja is an associate in the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group, where her practice concentrates on representing employers in a range of labor and employment law matters, such as defending against claims of discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, retaliation, and other employment-related claims before federal and state courts and other administrative entities. Maja obtained her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law and her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in American Studies from Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. During law school, Maja completed externships both at the Florida Commission on Human Relations and at the Public Employees Relations Commission, gaining the invaluable insight into the inner workings of state administrative agencies. Before attending law school, she earned a paralegal certificate and worked at a family law practice. As a dual citizen, Maja is fluent in Polish.
