Overview
Matthew Decker is an Associate in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Matthew has experience researching, drafting, and communicating resolutions to many types of legal questions.
Matthew obtained his Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law. Throughout law school, Matthew was involved in the Transaction Law Team, serving as a Founding Member of the CSOL Center for Business and Transactional Law and as Co-Chair of the Application Process. He served as a research assistant for Bill Merker, Professor of U.S. Constitutional Law and Public International Law and Lead Final Editor for Magistrate Judge Barbara Wofford-Kanwat. Prior to law school, Matthew obtained his Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy at Stanford University. During his undergraduate years, Matthew was Captain of the Varsity Baseball Team and President of The Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Action.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife and his three dogs.
