Overview

Nate is an associate in the firm’s Corporate & Tax Practice Group. He has experience drafting documents for mergers and acquisitions and business formation.

Nate earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Florida Entertainment & Sports Law Review and published his Note, “The End of an Error: No More Misclassifying University Employees as Mere Student-Athletes.” While in school, Nate worked with the Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida, and the PGA TOUR.

Prior to law school, Nate served for more than five years as a U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Officer, earning the rank of Lieutenant. His tours of duty include service aboard three amphibious warfare ships (LSD/LHD), where he directly oversaw the daily maintenance and operation of complex communication systems; damage control and emergency repair; chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear contamination response; and command-wide morale, welfare, and recreation budgets. During his time on active duty, Nate also earned his M.S. in Sports Management with a focus in Administration from Liberty University.

Nate obtained his B.S. in Economics from the United States Naval Academy, where he was a member of the Navy Football team.
