Overview

Sebastian is a patent agent who leverages his passion for innovation in technology to support the firm's Intellectual Property practice group. He has worked on patents for products in the automotive space related to both mechanical and electrical vehicle systems, as well as hand tools, construction machinery, forestry and lawn care tools, and robotics.

Since joining the firm, Sebastian’s main roles involve creating detailed technical analyses of, and executing effective responses to, office actions issued by the USPTO. Sebastian also prepares new patent applications and interfaces directly with inventors and outside counsel while doing so.

Prior to joining Burr, Sebastian's innate desire to understand how things work led him to Duke University, where he graduated with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering.
